I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel whilst working out of the nearby Malpensa Airport. This hotel's location is by no means its strong point. It is a 10-15 minute drive from Malpensa Airport and the small town of Oleggio is a 5 minute drive away, but it's not particularly close to anything else and for this reason is probably best suited to those using the airport or with business engagements in the area. The standard rooms can best be described as quite bright and airy, with each floor having its own colour scheme. The rooms are reasonably well appointed with all the expected amenities. On your first night you will be left a complimentary bottle of sparkling mineral water. The beds are comfortable and there are extra pillows and blankets provided in the wardrobe. The view from the rooms is nothing to write home about, and beware of rooms on the west side of the hotel which overlook a large, dull and grey warehouse type building. The bathrooms are pleasant and clean, though the shower temperature seems to have a mind of its own at times. On one stay I was placed into one of the disabled access rooms. Unless you actually need the modified accomodation, avoid these rooms at all costs. In place of a bath, the bathroom is essentially a "wet room" with a shower and very poor drainage. Wireless internet access is quite expensive, and there is no wired option available. There is a small computer room near reception which is similarly expensive, but fine for quickly checking your email account. Breakfast is very well presented and there is a good buffet selection that is kept well stocked. The "Asian Bar" is a pleasant place to relax at all times of day, with a decent range of food, though the food quality is slightly lacking when prices are considered. The pool area is open on a seasonal basis and is well placed to receive the maximum amount of sunlight. Beware of the automatic shower when entering the pool area from the connecting "gallery" between the two blocks. I found all of the staff to be very friendly and professional.
